Does it happen to you?

This is one of the most common feelings which always surprise me a lot …..How should I say…Okay let me put it in this way…

Today I was watching the foot ball match between Chelsea & Tottenham… well I am not very good at sports (not even @watching them).....Unfortunately if I don’t have the remote with me I will end up watching them like today. My flat mate is a great fan of Chelsea, he is one of my good friend and on top I don’t have any favourite team so I was happy to support Chelsea too…they played well and won the match. But the point is I know I wanted Chelsea to win…. But inside my heart, I felt so sad when I saw Tottenham players trying so hard to score or the Tottenham manager with the sad face because they were loosing…

This was not the first time I had such kind of feelings it happened/happens number of times,

Incidents Like

- when I see a person selling something and if he don’t have many customers. I feel like buying something from him

- when I see a beggar to whom people are not giving money- I feel like giving the money to him/her

- Last time when I went to shiridi my family had tough time( not a big deal :-) , because when we went out for lunch I forced them to go to a restaurant which was almost empty.  later they complained that the food was not that great( it's not bad either), but I came out with a happy smile with great satisfaction that I helped the owner to have 5 customers on that day…:-)

These are just few examples….I always come across such kind of incidents ,be it is my favourite or not, does not always matter if I like it or not but still I will end up having this kind of special feeling… you know some times I feel so happy to have it. However, there are times when I questioned myself ' Is it just me having this kind of typical /strange/odd/ unusual or weird yet special-happy feelings or does it happen to everyone?’

Beleive me dear, it happens to everyone. People who are not blessed with kind hearts like you brush it off the moment it rears its head.. people with too kind hearts sink in the feeling of helplessness and despair and do nothing thinking waht difference will it make..

but some who are perfectly kind like you go ahead and try to do their part in bringing a change. It is so sweet to know this about you. It is such a good thought.

Practicality often wins over any iota of kindness I might have inside me.. and I hate myself for that.. But your posts wills me to justify myself to myself.. so I will say this - I may not be as kind as you in such situations.. but I do try to do the best I can.. which is not much compared to you..but still it is something right.. right?

  2. It happens to a lot of people no doubt ...evn i am a huge football fan...tottenham spurs are themost improved squad this season...harry redknapp their manager has been behind this improvement entirely...so your feelings arent for the wrong squad....

Rohini...what you said is true , seems like it happens to everyone.. and yes every time we may not be able to put such thoughts into actions......but then we cant help not to have such feelings...

    Hey Eswari..

It is not only you... This happens to many... Me too experienced the same....

In a game, if there is no fav team playing, the feeling of pittyness falls with the one whi getting lost in it... And many times, I got that tend to buy something from the roadsiders who just struggle to selll that they have in the hot sun...

Sometimes, I wud buy just to motivate them to work hard rather than taking up the begging one...
